Bader Vs Brilz Set For UFC 139

|

Ryan Bader is looking to rebound from his upset loss to Tito Ortiz at UFC 132. His latest opponent is Jason Brilz who is coming off of two straight losses.

Both men are on two fight losing streaks and the loser of this could be handed walking papers.

Bader who I spoke of before lost at UFC 132 to Tito Ortiz by surprising guillotine choke. He was a very high favorite in that fight due to the fact that his loss before at UFC 129 was a number one contender fight against current light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

Brilz most recent loss was to Vladdy Matyushenko at UFC 129. It didn’t take “The Janitor” long to finish Brilz, just 20 seconds to be precise. His fight before that loss was a controversial split decision loss to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

UFC 139 is expected to be headlined by a heavyweight title clash between Cain Velasquez and number one contender Junior Dos Santos.

The rumored fight card looks like this…
Heavyweight Championship bout: Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos
Bantamweight bout: Brian Bowles vs. Urijah Faber
Light Heavyweight bout: Stephan Bonnar vs. Kyle Kingsbury
Welterweight bout: Martin Kampmann vs. Rick Story
Light Heavyweight bout: Ryan Bader vs. Jason Brilz
Middleweight bout: Tom Lawlor vs. Chris Weidman
Lightweight bout: Gleison Tibau vs. Rafael dos Anjos
