Will Fedor Emelianenko Retire after Rizzo fight? “It’s up to God”

|

Today (June 21), “The Last Emperor” Fedor Emelianenko will take on Pedro Rizzo at M-1 Global: Fedor Emelianenko vs. Pedro Rizzo in St. Petersburg, Russia. This could be the last time we see Emelianenko grace the ring/cage, as he has mentioned in the past that this could be his last fight. However it sounds as if he is still a tad bit unsure of his MMA future, “It’s up to God,” Fedor told LowKick.com. “I still have to fight Pedro Rizzo.”

Rizzo has been in some very entertaining fights and has wins over Jeff Monson and Josh Barnett. “The Last Emperor” respects Rizzo as a fighter, “Pedro is an experienced fighter, He has some very good victories on his record. He beat Jeff Monson and Josh Barnett, so I’m ready to fight in both stand-up and on the ground. I’ll adjust during the fight.”
