Ramsey Nijem vs. Joe Proctor added to Seattle's UFC on FOX 5 card

|

Last night on UFC Tonight, it was announced that UFC on FOX 5 would be heading to Seattle, Washington. Today the good folks at the UFC announced another match-up for that card. Former TUF contestants Ramsey Nijem and Joe Proctor will square off in a lightweight battle.

UFC officials made the announcement on Wednesday.

Since losing in The Ultimate Fighter 13 finale to Tony Ferguson, Nijem (6-2) has won two in a row. He beat Danny Downes by unanimous decision at UFC 137 and TKO’d C.J. Keith at UFC on FX 4 this past June.

Proctor (8-1) made it to the quarter finals of TUF Live, but was defeated by James Vick. He was brought back to fight at the TUF Live finale, where he defeated Jeremy Larsen by TKO to record his first win inside the octagon. Look for him to try to make it 2-0 as he faces Nijem in Seattle.

UFC on FOX 5 is set to go down on December 8 at KeyArena in Seattle. The event is expected to be headlined by Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz for the lightweight championship.
