Quinton “Rampage” Jackson put out rape video to ‘get kicked out of the UFC’

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been on the opposite side of the playing field with UFC President Dana White and other UFC officials as of late.

So much so that the video he put out back in April was an attempt to actually get fired from the organization. However, the UFC saw right through it.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting, Jackson elaborated on the so-called attempt.

The reason why it wasn’t funny is because the guy released it too soon. It was supposed to be like Dave Chappelle type of stuff. I was supposed to do a series of videos and I was going to be like Dave Chappelle. I like and I wanted to be like Dave Chappelle. The guy liked the video so much he put it on an MMA website, I don’t understand. I was supposed to say, this is what I hope happens to any guy, lowlife, trying to rape women. Look what happened to the guy. He got shot at and ended up being a tranny, a man. Plus at the same time, I was kind of like, I had to put it out there, the timing, I was trying to get kicked out of the UFC. I have to keep it real. I was trying. They (UFC) were smart. They knew it, they saw right through it.” – transcribed by MMAmania.com

Jackson was expected to take on Glover Texeira at UFC 153 in the final fight of his UFC contract, however he had to pull out due to injury.

Once his UFC contract is fulfilled, Rampage plans on pursuing other organizations who apparently will pay him more money. Could he end up like “King Mo” and pursue a professional wrestling/MMA career with Bellator/TNA? Your guess is as good as mine.
