Dana White wants to “talk” to Eddie Alvarez following latest win

|

Eddie Alvarez (24-3) fought for possibly the last time inside a Bellator cage this past Friday night. He was able to go out in winning fashion, as he knocked out Patricky “Pitbull” Freire in the first round at Bellator 76.

Following the win, UFC President Dana White immediately tweeted,

@Ealvarezfight congrats Bro!!! Let’s talk :)”

White has made it clear on numerous occasions that he and the organization are interested in signing Alvarez.

Many casual MMA fans may not even know who Alvarez is, because he has honed his skills outside the UFC. However, plenty of ranking masters have him ranked in the top 10 of the lightweight division.

The Blackzilian fighter is 9-1 in his last 10 fights. He has key victories over Shinya Aoki, Pat Curran, Roger Huerta and Toby Imada. His most recent loss came to Michael Chandler in November of 2011, where he lost his Bellator lightweight championship.

Keep it locked to MMASucka.com to see which organization Alvarez decides to call home.
