Kyung Ho Kang ruled out of UFC: Macao

|

Newly signed Kyung Ho Kang has to wait a little longer to make his first appearance in the UFC’s octagon.

According to several sources, the 25-year-old South Korean had to pull out of a scheduled fight with TUF Alumni Alex Caceres, after sustaining a fractured foot during training. ‘Bruce Leroy’ now awaits a new opponent.

“It was my own carelessness. It’s so bad,” he told the Korean media. “This was such a big opportunity that I have been working really hard, sparring very hard, there were a lot of expectations and I had so many family and friends who bought tickets to fly to Macau. Its hard for me to express in words about this situation… its so bad.”

“I’ve missed the chance to debut in Macau now but it will only make me work harder and more determined to recover. I want to make a stunning fight maybe in the United States next year, February or March maybe,” says Kang.

UFC: Macao is just over a week away and takes place on November 10 in Macau, China. The event will be headlined by former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin, and former Strikeforce title-holder, Cung Le.
