Fivestar Fight League 5 fight card finalized

Yellowknife, Canada will get a taste of MMA action on April 13 as Fivestar Fight League invades the city.

Fivestar Fight League 5 will take place at the Yellowknife Arena and is jam packed with both professional and amateur bouts.

The main event is for the Fivestar Fight League light heavyweight championship, as Adam MacDonald (4-0) of Ottawa, Ontario takes on Peter Nolan (4-1) who hails from Toronto, Ontario.

Veteran Sheldon Wescott (6-1-1) will step inside the cage in the co-main event taking on Aaron Shmyr (4-2). Wescott has fought all over the country and since losing his professional debut in 2007 has gone 5-1-1.

The amateur portion of the card boasts five outstanding match-ups with four of them featuring local Yellowknife talent. On top of the great mixed martial arts action, this card will also feature some kickboxing bouts that will be adding to the card at a later date.
