With UFC 158 this evening, I figured I’d send out some text messages to some professional MMA fighters and get their pick for the main event.
Tonight’s main event is for the UFC welterweight championship, as Georges St-Pierre squares off with his arch-nemesis Nick Diaz. This fight has been in the works for nearly two years and fans are eagerly awaiting it.
Check out below who the pro’s are picking between St-Pierre and Diaz.
Anthony Pettis (UFC Lightweight/Featherweight) – GSP Decision
Demetrious Johnson(UFC Flyweight Champ) – GSP by Decision
Nam Phan (UFC Featherweight) – Nick Diaz by Stockton Slap =)
Denis Kang (Former PRIDE/UFC Middleweight) – GSP by Referee Stoppage (Cut) in 3rd or 4th round
Ben Saunders (Bellator Welterweight) – Would like Diaz but GSP will probably get the takedowns and avoid submissions
