In the main event at AFC 18: Mayhem Joel Powell took it to former TUF competitor Michael Hill for the better part of three rounds. Powell proved that his heart and training were more focused than that of Hill.
He was able to take Hill down on numerous occasions and control his back for almost the entire fight. When the two were on their feet, Hill landed some serious shots, but Powell showed that his chin could take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’.
