The UFC’s return to Belo Horizonte, BR has just been livened up with the addition of Wisniewski vs. Guimaraes in a welterweight bout, and Pepey vs. Sicilia at featherweight.

UFC officials confirmed the new bouts over the weekend.

Keith Wisniewski-Marcelo Guimaraes, Godofredo Pepey-Sam Sicilia added to UFC on FS1 3

Keith “The Polish Connection” Wisniewski (28-14-1) is in a must-win situation in this welterweight match-up. Having lost his first two UFC bouts to Josh Neer and Chris Clements, Wisniewski is in desperate need of a victory this time around in order to ensure his continued employment with the Zuffa-owned organization. Will the submission-loving “Polish Connection” be able to get the win and keep his job against “Magrao”?

Marcelo “Magrao” Guimaraes (8-1-1) is in a slightly better position than his opponent, Wisniewski. Going 1-1 in the UFC so far, Guimaraes was last seen in a losing effort against Hyun Gyu Lim at UFC on Fuel TV 8. While the 30-year-old Brazilian does have a trio of finishes, the bulk of his wins have come by way of decision. Will “Magrao” be able to impose his will on his American opponent?

Godofredo “Pepey” Castro (9-2) is one of the original crop of TUF Brazil cast members currently active with the UFC. The grappling specialist has gone 1-2 in the promotion so far, sandwiching a win over Milton Viera between losses to Rony Jason and Felipe Arantes. Will the colorful featherweight be able to even up his UFC record against American TUF alumnus Sicilia?

Sam Sicilia (11-3) came into the UFC via the 15th season of the Ultimate Fighter. The Sikjitsu team member has also gone 1-2 in his last 3 bouts, including a loss to common opponent Rony Jason. Will the heavy-handed Sicilia be looking to secure his job with a victory over his Brazilian TUF counterpart?

UFC on FS1 3 goes down on September 4th, 2013 at the Jornalista Felipe Drumond Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The main event is currently set to be a light-heavyweight affair, pitting Ryan Bader up against Glover Teixeira. Stay tuned to MMASucka.com for more on this and other upcoming events!
