A fantastic lightweight match-up will go down at UFC 166, as K.J. Noons takes on George Sotiropoulos.

K.J. Noons draws George Sotiropoulos at UFC 166

UFC officials announced the bout after it was first announced by Australian news outlet The Age.

Noons (11-7) is currently riding a three-fight losing streak. He most recently lost his UFC debut against Donald Cerrone at UFC 160 in May. Coming in to the organization Noons was 1-4 in his last five fights under the Strikeforce banner.

Sotiropoulos (14-5) is also on a brutal three-fight losing streak with losses to Dennis Siver, Rafael dos Anjos and most recently Ross Pearson. The Australian fighter was stopped early in the third round against Pearson at UFC on FX 6 this past December.

UFC 166 is scheduled for Oct. 19th, 2013 at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. The main event for this card is scheduled to be a trilogy bout for the UFC heavyweight title between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. Stay tuned to MMASucka.com for more on this and other upcoming events.
