In a bout that all but guarantees female fistic fireworks, Jessica Eye vs. Sarah Kaufman has been added to UFC 166 in Houston, Texas.
UFC officials confirmed the bout earlier today.

“Evil” Eye (10-1) may be best known for one of two things these days: Her complete destruction of former Bellator champ Zoila Frausto-Gurgel, or her victory over Carina Damm and the subsequent furor over Damm’s suspension for submitting non-human urine for her drug test. A member of the Strong Style Fight Team with Stipe Miocic, Eye continues to grow as a dangerous mixed martial artist. Will she continue her path of destruction with a win over Kaufman in her UFC debut?
Former Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion Kaufman (16-2) has had what is likely the longest wait for her UFC debut of any of that promotion’s fighters. The powerful Canadian, who is in elite company with her slam KO victory over Roxanne Modafferi, is known for her heavy hands and strong offensive wrestling. With a victory over Leslie Smith in her last fight for Invicta FC, Kaufman will be coming into this bout with a lot of momentum. Will she be able to pound out a victory over her fellow UFC debutant?
