Ultimate Beatdown is set to crown its first batch of champions

|

Ultimate Beatdown has been a spectacle in the Asian MMA scene since 2011, showcasing twelve events to date in Malaysia. The promotion is known to showcase a wide array of Martial Arts practices in its installments, most notably Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts contests.

Ultimate Beatdown is partnered with ONE Fighting Championship as part of the distinct “ONE FC Network” – a chain of gyms, promotions and sponsors that ONE FC has collaborated with in conjunction with the growth of Asian MMA across the region.

On November 30, the Malaysia-based promotion will be hosting its thirteenth event in view of crowning its first set of champions across multiple weight divisions through a tournament based format.

Officials confirmed details with MMASucka.com.

Titled “Road to Glory”, the tournament will be held across several events, eventually culminating in a finale where the finalists will square off in their respective divisions to vie for the promotion’s inaugural championship titles.

However, Ultimate Beatdown 13 will take place at the KSL City Mall Hotel & Resort this time around as opposed to the Cheers Bar & Grill and De’Bali Bistro & Cafe venues which housed previous events. KSL will also serve as a sponsor for future events of Ultimate Beatdown’s as part of a newly forged partnership.

A press conference for Ultimate Beatdown 13 has been targeted for later this month, where details on the line-up of competitors and more will be issued.

The likes of Fight G’s Brad Robinson (1-0), Philippines’ Jun Minion (1-0) and MIMMA champ Kenny Yap (3-1) among others are all expected to compete on the month-end fight card.
