In previous years, Bellator has held tryouts around the country and has discovered the likes of Jason Butcher, Mike Mucitelli, Jared Downing and Ailton Barbosa, among others. Bellator’s talent relations team, including Sam Caplan and Zach Light, will both be on hand to review and evaluate talent.

Fighters must bring a mouth piece, protective cup and MMA or boxing gloves. Fighters must also be an unrestricted free agent with no contractual obligations to any other combat sports promotion. All weight classes are welcome. Tryouts will consist of one-on-one grappling as well as a group striking session. There will be no live MMA sparring.

There will be no winner of the tryouts, but instead the Bellator talent relations team will review all performances post-tryout and determine if there is a fit for a future opening. Fighters are also asked to bring their MMA ID or their MixedMartialArts.com profile page that includes their photo.
