Gastelum (7-0) is currently undefeated in his pro MMA career and 2-0 inside the Octagon. After defeating Uriah Hall to become The Ultimate Fighter 17 winner, he went on to defeat Brian Melancon by rear naked choke at UFC Fight Night 26 in August. That victory marked his welterweight debut.

No word on an opponent for McGee, but the organization is seeking for one.

McGee (16-3) decided to make the cut to welterweight after losing two in a row and has since won two in a row against Josh Neer and Robert Whittaker. After winning season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter he has gone 5-2 inside the Octagon.

UFC on FOX 9 is expected to go down from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif. on December 14. It will be headlined by Demetrious Johnson vs. Joseph Benavidez in a rematch for the UFC flyweight title.
