The release of the cast list for TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia earlier today brought with it a bit of a mystery: There was one fighter missing. MMASucka, via a reliable source, has found out the identity of the missing welterweight. Matt DesRoches, of Cornwall, P.E.I., Canada, is the final piece of the Team Cote.

Matt DesRoches (4-0) currently trains out of Wulfrun MMA, and has yet to see the 2nd round as professional. With 3 (T)KOs to his name, and his last win by submission, the quick finisher will be looking to make an impact as part of Team Canada.

TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia begins airing on FOX Sports 1 (US), Sportsnet 360 (Canada), and FX (Australia) on January 15th, 2014. The show will feature Canada’s Patrick Cote and Australia’s Kyle Noke guiding teams of lightweights and middleweights to UFC glory en route to their own battle at the season’s end.
