Edgar (16-4-1) has been fighting for the UFC since February 2007 and has been not only the lightweight champion, but also fought Jose Aldo for the featherweight title as well.

“The Answer” may not be known for his submission prowess, as he hasn’t finished a fight via submission since his Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale match-up against Matt Veach. That fight was back in 2009 and won the New Jersey native ‘Fight of the Night’ honors.

Edgar will coach the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter against arch-nemesis B.J. Penn. The two are expected to fight in a featherweight showdown after the series’ completion.
