Heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Frank Mir did battle on the UFC 169 main card in what was a so-called do-or-die fight.

Overeem was able to use his striking prowess to drop Mir in the first and continue to bully him for the entire fight. He wasn’t able to finish the former champ, but he did out strike Mir 139 to 5.
