Word is coming out of England that the preliminary card bout between TUF 18 runner-up Davey Grant and Roland Delorme has been scrapped. No explanation has been given at this time.

Roland Delorme vs. Davey Grant pulled from UFC Fight Night 38

The announcement was made by the UFC’s official UK twitter account.

“Dangerous” Davey Grant (8-2) was introduced to UFC fans as a member of Team Rousey on the 18th season of the Ultimate Fighter. The deceptively strong grappler made it to the finals before falling to male season winner Chris Holdsworth by Rear Naked Choke. Grant was hoping to keep his place in the UFC with a victory over fellow TUF alumnus Delorme.

“Stunning” Roland Delorme (9-2, 1 N/C) was also an Ultimate Fighter castmember, appearing on Season 14 of the show. The Canadian grappling ace was last seen losing a tough split decision to Alex Caceres at UFC 165. Delorme was hoping to avoid the first consecutive losses of his career with a win over Grant.

UFC Fight Night 38 will still go down March 8th, live from the O2 Arena in London, England. The main event is a light heavyweight bout pitting hard-hitter Jimi Manuwa against the man who nearly dethroned Jon Jones, Alexander Gustafsson. Stay tuned to MMASucka for more on this and other events.
