May’s ROAD FC 015 event has its first match-up. A rematch for the aficionados, between former DREAM Featherweight champ Joachim Hansen (23-11-1), and South Korea’s Seo Doo-Won (9-7).

Officials announced the bout earlier this week.

The 15th installment of ROAD Fighting Championship takes place May 10, at the Chiak Stadium in Wonju, South Korea. As with previous events, fans can catch the entire card for USD$9.99 on the internet platform via USTREAM.

The first fight between the two went down at ROAD FC 011 in April last year, with Hansen getting his hands raised on that occasion. Earlier in round 1, the Norwegian weathered the early storm against Won before rebounding strongly in the second frame, securing a fight ending Arm-Triangle choke from mount for a tap.

While that was Hansen’s first fight in almost two years, his South Korean counterpart suffered his first setback under the ROAD FC banner following a stellar 3-0 run.

Hansen is one of the most recognizable faces in Asian MMA, having racked up multiple bouts in Shooto, PRIDE and DREAM among other Asian organizations. His win against Won was his fourth in his past five outings.

Won, meanwhile, has had a roller-coaster ride of sorts in his MMA career. After a rough 1-6 patch from 2006 to 2008, the 32-year-old revived his career by winning his next six fights, before falling victim to Hansen for his first defeat in four years.
