Jung (13-4) has not fought since his UFC 163 loss to Jose Aldo in August 2013. He fell short in that fight due to a dislocated shoulder which forced him out of action. The injury, along with a wedding has kept him sidelined since then.
Corassani (12-4, 1NC) is coming off a one-sided beat down from Dustin Poirier at The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale in April. Prior to that defeat, the Swedish native was riding a three-fight winning streak.
UFC Fight Night 53 goes down on October 4 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm. The main event is a welterweight bout between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story.
