UFC 177 medical suspensions: Soto, Castillo out 6 months

The California State Athletic Commission released the list of medical suspension for ‘UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Soto’ to MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday.

UFC 177 took place in Sacramento, California at the Sleep Train Arena on August 30.

Joe Soto is suspended for 180 days unless cleared by a physician for a possible fracture to the fifth finger of his right hand. He also faces a 60-day suspension unless cleared by a physician for a laceration to his nose. He is suspended for a minimum of 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to the knockout loss, and is required to get a new ophthalmological exam before his next bout.

Tony Ferguson is suspended for 60 days unless cleared by a physician for a laceration to his right eyebrow.

Danny Castillo is suspended for 180 unless cleared by a physician for a possible fracture to his right thumb.

Shayna Baszler is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to TKO stoppage.

Ramsey Nijem is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to TKO stoppage.

Damon Jackson is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to hard bout. He must also get a new neurological exam before his next fight.

Ruan Potts is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to hard bout.

Cain Carrizosa is suspended for 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to hard bout.
