Following an 18 month long layoff, season 7 lightweight tournament winner Dave Jansen will return to the Bellator cage against Rick Hawn at Bellator 130.

Bellator President Scott Coker confirmed the news on Monday.

Jansen (19-2) is unbeaten in the Bellator MMA cage with a record of 6-0. He has three decision wins and three submission wins, all of which via some type of choke. Two of his decision wins in the promotion are against Marcin Held and Ricardo Tirloni. Jansen was set to fight (then) champion Michael Chandler at Bellator 96 on June 19, 2013, unfortunately on June 2nd Jansen would pull out on injury.

Hawn (18-3) is a three time Bellator tournament veteran, winning two of three. He went 4-0 in 2013, starting that run with a knockout win over Karo Parisyan at welterweight. After that he would enter the season nine welterweight tournament. He went on to win the tournament following wins over Keslar, Weedman and Terrado. After the tournament win he received a welterweight title shot against champion Douglas Lima. Lima went on to finish Hawn in the 2nd round after dominating him throughout.

Bellator 130 is set to take place on October 24 at the Kansas Star Casino in Kansas City.
