UFC 180 went down tonight in Mexico City, Mexico, with a preliminary card that featured one of the more brutal doctor’s stoppages in quite some time. In a bout that many argue should have been on the main card, Jessica Eye took on Leslie Smith. Eye used her speed to land a multitude of punches on Smith, in the first round including one that nearly took “The Peacemaker’s” ear off of her head. “Evil” Eye would continue to target the injury, leading to referee Herb Dean calling in the cage-side physician during the 2nd round.
