Jorge Masvidal has been forced out of his UFC Fight Night 59 bout against Norman Parke due to undisclosed injury, and the veteran Gleison Tibau has replaced him.

UFC officials announced the matchup-change early Thursday morning.

Tibau (32-10) has picked up two wins in a row since dropping a loss to Michael Johnson at UFC 168 just under a year ago, with decision wins over Pat Healy and most recently Piotr Hallmann in September.

Parke (20-2-1) hasn’t lost since 2010, and has most recently picked up wins over Jon Tuck, Naoyuki Kotani, and went to a majority draw against Leonardo Santos.  He’ll be looking to keep his large win-streak going with a win over Tibau early next year.

This matchup is scheduled for the main card.

UFC Fight Night 59 takes place live from the TD Garden in Boston on Jan. 18, 2015.  The 145-pound Irishman, Conor McGregor is headlining the card against Dennis Siver, and in the co-main event former champions of the two biggest MMA promotions, Benson Henderson and Eddie Alvarez are set to get at it.
