The main event at UFC Fight Night 60 was expected to be a welterweight showdown between Tarec Saffiedine and Matt Brown. Unfortunately, Saffiedine was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a groin injury.

MMAJunkie.com was first to report the injury, with the UFC yet to confirm.

The fight card takes place on February 14 and the UFC will likely find a replacement for Brown.

Saffiedine (15-4) is also coming off a loss, his to Rory MacDonald at UFC Fight Night 54. Prior to the TKO loss, Saffiedine was riding a five-fight winning streak. The former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion is 1-1 inside the Octagon.

Brown (19-12) was riding a very impressive seven-fight winning streak, which earned him a number one contender bout against Robbie Lawler. He wound up losing a unanimous decision, but still earned “Fight of the Night” for his performance.

The UFC Fight Night event will go down on February 14 from the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
