Fighters Only Magazine today announced that FOX SPORTS will return in 2016 as the Fighters Only World MMA Awards official television partner, and that the Awards show will be presented on FOX SPORTS 2 (FS2) and FSN NETWORKS later this year.

“We greatly appreciate having the number one sports network in mixed martial arts, FOX SPORTS, as our national television partner and the incredible impact that carries for our Awards,” said Rob Hewitt, CEO of Fighters Only Magazine. “I look forward to seeing the 2016 World MMA Awards debut on FS2 next month.”

The 8th Annual World MMA Awards will take place Friday, February 5th inside The Venetian® Theatre at The Venetian® Las Vegas and will debut on FS2 on Friday, February 12th in primetime.

Fighters Only revealed the list of Nominees for the 8th Annual World MMA Awards last month, announcing that it has added three new Categories to the ceremony this year: Best MMA Programming, Best MMA Clothing & Equipment Brand, and Analyst of the Year.

Fighters Only gives MMA fans everywhere the power to decide the 2016 Award winners. Fans can cast their votes now through their mobile devices, smart phones or PCs via the official website live at WorldMMAAwards.com. Online voting will close Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 12:00 Midnight PT.

The Fighters Only Awards rank as the most comprehensive MMA Awards ceremony in history. The 8th Annual World MMA Awards reflect a full calendar year of action, as the categories include events that transpired from January 1 through December 31, 2015.
