Join me and Mike Harrington of the Gas Digital Network as we give our UFC on FOX 28 fight picks. Mike is co-host of his own podcast Hammerfisting MMA and works with former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping and comedian Luis J. Gomez on the Believe You Me podcast.

Bantamweight Sara McMann tries to get back to her winning ways when she takes on Marion Reneau.

Sam Alvey’s last fight he took on short notice and came in 4 pounds over the 185 pound limit, losing a lackluster decision. This time he is moving up to light heavyweight to take on a UFC newcomer in Marcin Prachnio. Prachino hasn’t lost since 2014, but he doesn’t even have  a Twitter account or a Wikipedia page, so I’m not sure I like his chances….

Renan Barao moves back down to 135 pounds to take on Brian Kelleher. Renan coming off a loss to Aljamain Sterling in a fight that had to be contested at 140 pounds because California wouldn’t license him to cut down to 135. Brian is coming off a win after losing his first fight in the UFC.

Ben Saunders faces off against Alan Jouban. Both welterweights are Eddie Bravo 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu guys, and both are coming off knockout losses.

Another welterweight showdown puts Mike Perry and Max Griffin in the octagon.

Ovince Saint Preux takes on Ilir Latifi at light heavyweight. Latifi who only stands 5-10 is one of the shorter light heavyweights on the roster. He is coming off a win over Tyson Pedro last September. OSP who has now won 3 in a row, two of those by Von Flue – or rather Von Preux choke, is trying to work his way back up to a title shot.

The co-main event brings Jessica Andrade vs. Tecia Torres together. This is a fight that will most likely determine the next challenger for the women’s straw-weight title.

UFC on FOX 28 Fight Picks

In the main event Jeremy Stephens faces Josh Emmett in a 145 pound showdown. Stephens, who has won two in a row struggles with top tier fighters. Emmett is coming off of a devastating knockout win against Ricardo Lamas. While the knockout was impressive, it is often overlooked Emmett couldn’t make the featherweight limit.

UFC On Fox 28 takes place on February 24, 2018, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Please don’t place any bets based on my picks!
