It was just under a week ago that the MMA world was shocked by the unfortunate death of Shawn Tompkins. His brother in law and UFC fighter Sam Stout told media that Tompkins died of a heart attack.
His funeral service was this past Friday at 1 p.m. at West Park Church in London, Ontario and /A News’ Brent Lale was at the memorial to catch the touching stories, including one that Shawn’s wife made stating “I think I met 12 people that said they were Shawn’s best friends.” That shows the kind of impact the man had on not just the MMA world, but people in general. He will forever be missed.
