Frank Mir Wants “Test” Against Alistair Overeem Instead Of Brock

|

When the Dana White announced that Brock Lesnar would be back by the new year, rumors began swirling that his comeback fight would be a trilogy fight against Frank Mir.

Mir earned a unanimous decision victory over Roy Nelson in his last fight at UFC 130. In a recent interview with MiddleEasy Mir talks about rumors of a rubber match with Lesnar, the potential signing of Alistair Overeem and the fact that he would much rather “test” himself against The Reem than take on Brock.

“If (a rubber match with Lesnar) works out, it works out. I just want to fight again, it doesn’t matter who… (Fighting) Alistair Overeem would be pretty cool, if he actually came over. I think that he’s a great fighter, I think he’s done a lot in this sport – his K-1 accomplishments. I think he’s an immediate threat to come over and I’d like to test myself against him.”
