TUF winner Pearson arrested on suspicion of DUI

|

The Ultimate Fighter season 9 winner, England’s Ross “The Real Deal” Pearson was arrested on suspicion of DUI this weekend in Las Vegas, according to gossip-monger website TMZ.

Pearson was reportedly pulled over at approximately 4 AM Sunday morning by Las Vegas police after driving erratically. He was then taken into custody after failing a field sobriety test “miserably”.

In Pearson’s defence, he is a British subject and driving on the other side of the road likely feels more natural for him. He has also been working diligently on his footwork and may have wanted to demonstrate that to the arresting officers, leading to their pronouncement of a field sobriety test failure. Innocent until proven guilty after all.

Pearson is currently scheduled to take on Cub Swanson at UFC on FX 4, taking place on June 12. There is no word yet if his arrest will affect that match-up.
