UFC on FOX 4 gets Travis Browne vs. Ben Rothwell

|

The UFC on FOX 4 card seems to be taking shape quite nicely. Just a little while ago the UFC announced via UFC.com a heavyweight clash between Travis Browne and Ben Rothwell.

Two big guys coming off of big wins have also agreed to exchange that evening as heavyweight Ben Rothwell takes on Travis “Hapa” Browne. Rothwell earned the KO of the Night bonus while Browne scored Submission of the Night last week at UFC 145.

Browne (13-0-1) has only one flaw on his record and that is a draw to Cheick Kongo at UFC 120. Most recently he pulled off an impressive arm triangle choke over Chad Griggs at UFC 145. That performance earned Browne the Submission of the Night honours and a nice little pay cheque.

Having also just recently fought on the UFC 145 card, Rothwell (32-8) looks to keep in the winning column. He picked up an impressive KO over Brendan Schaub in the first round, which earned him Knockout of the Night honours.

This fight has the potential to be a fight night candidate.

Also announced for the UFC on FOX 4 card is a match-up between Lyoto Machida and Ryan Bader, as well as Hector Lombard making his UFC debut against Brian Stann.
