2004 Olympic Silver medalist Sara McMann (6-0), is set to make her promotional debut in Strikeforce against Liz Carmouche (7-2).

The match-up was first announced and confirmed by MMAFighting.com.

Headlined by a Heavyweight tilt between Daniel Cormier and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir, ‘Strikeforce: Cormier vs. Mir’ is set to go down on November 3rd at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

Sara McMann, who is undefeated as both an amateur and a professional, was last seen at Invicta FC 2 where she gained a Unanimous Decision victory over Shayna Baszler. Since making her MMA debut in May 2011, McMann has competed in various organizations including ProElite and Titan Fighting Championship.

Following back-to-back defeats against Sarah Kaufman and Marloes Coenen in Strikeforce, Liz Carmouche went 2-0 under the Invicta FC banner, gaining stoppage wins over Ashleigh Curry and Kaitlin Young. A veteran of 9 professional fights, the 28-year-old is 2-2 in her stint with Strikeforce thus far.
