As part of its ‘Friday Night Fight Nights’ initiative, which will see the promotion showcasing events on a weekly basis, the SFL has announced the latest round of match- ups that will be set for its forthcoming SFL 6 event, on October 26th. And just like SFL 4 and 5, SFL 6 will carry a total of 7 bouts on its fight card.
SFL 6’s Main event will see Middleweights Xavier Foupa Pokam and Brazilian Claudio Henrique Da Silva squaring off against one another. Pokam is a familiar face, having competed in SFL’s inaugural event and will, perhaps, be known by MMA fans worldwide for his brief stint with the UFC. The frenchman had a successful debut in the India-based promotion, and also managed to snap a 5-fight losing streak.
Pokam is set to welcome Da Silva to the SFL cage for the first time, as the Brazilian looks set to make his promotional debut on October 26th. Holding a record of 8-1, the 30-year-old was last seen at WFC 2 in July last year, where he captured the organization’s 170-lbs strap. A BJJ practitioner, Da Silva is on a tear with an 8-fight win streak.
The co-Main event will see Isaac Kairo, the winner of the inaugural ‘SFL Challengers’ MMA series, take on Ajaz Hassan, a figther who’ll be making both his SFL and MMA debut.
As it stands, here’s the fight card for SFL 6:
- Xavier Foupa Pokam vs. Claudio Henrique Da Silva

- Ritika Singh vs. Gurleen Kaur
- Gurvinder Singh vs. Subrata Das
