SFL 7, the 7th intallment of The Super Fight League, took place this past Friday, November 2nd, in Mumbai. SFL 7 was part of an initiative titled ‘Friday Night Fight Nights,’ where 7 fights are showcased on Fridays on a weekly basis.
On a night of submissions, the event was headlined by the UK’s rising starlet Michael Page and Egyptian Haitham Tantawy. Page dominated proceedings with a series of unorthodox stances, and did enough damage to force the doctor to stop the fight in the first round.
In the evening’s 2nd featured attraction, Daniel Amar Singh scored a 0:25s submission win over Michael Pereira. Singh certainly sent chills down the spines of many fans and fighters after that performance.
