Dennis Siver vs. Cub Swanson set for co-main event at UFC on FUEL TV 7

|

A featherweight bout between two of the divisions most feared strikers is set for UFC on FUEL TV 7 in London, England as Dennis Siver will take on Cub Swanson.

ESPN first reported news of the bout and the UFC confirmed it on the UK Twitter account.

Siver (21-8) absolutely obliterated Nam Phan at UFC on FOX 5 this past Saturday. He is taking no time to rest, as he’s looking to climb the division ladder as quick as possible. He is currently 2-0 since dropping to 145lbs.

Swanson (18-5) is riding a three fight win streak, with all three of those coming by way of knockout. He started the streak with a win over George Roop at UFC on FOX 2, followed it up with a win over Ross Pearson at UFC on FX 4 and most recently defeated Charles Oliveira at UFC 152.

The bout is expected to serve as the nights co-main event.

UFC on FUEL TV 7 is slated to go down on February 16 from the Wembley Arena in London, England. The main event is for the interim bantamweight championship, as Renan Barao will look to defend his title for the first time against the always dangerous Michael McDonald.
