Former Legend FC Bantamweight champ Jumabieke Tuerxun signs with the UFC

|

His name may be hard to pronounce and may seem cool to many but this unbeaten prospect is just the 2nd competitor from China to have inked a deal with the world’s biggest MMA promotion – the UFC.

Reports have confirmed that unbeaten Chinese prospect Jumabieke Tuerxun (14-0) is now set to compete in the famed octagon.

Tuerxun is familiar face in the Asian MMA scene, having competed for a myriad of promotions including RUFF and Legend Fighting Championship. At 26-year-old, there’s surely more to come from the Xian Sports University native.

He recently competed in RUFF and was expected to fight for a title. However, “The Wild Wolf” declined a new contract offer and opted to become a free agent instead.

The Chinese veteran will now look to follow in the footsteps of fellow countryman, Tiequan Zhang.

Last November, the UFC held its first ever event in China, bringing a FUEL TV show that was headlined by Cung Le and Rich Franklin.
