John Makdessi vs Renee Forte added to UFC 165

John “The Bull” Makdessi (11-2) is a Tristar Gym representative competing in the lightweight division. Armed with a Tae Kwan Do background and an assortment of unorthodox attacks to go with it, “The Bull” terrorized the Quebec MMA scene before getting called up the big leagues in 2010. Currently 4-2 in the Octagon, Makdessi will be looking to punch, kick, or otherwise force his opposition into unconsciousness. Will “The Bull” be able to put the horns to his Brazilian foe?

Renee Forte (8-2) comes into this bout on the heels of his first victory in his new home of 155 lbs. After defeating Terry Etim at UFC on Fuel TV 7, the Team Nogueira member will be looking to impose his will on Makdessi and continue to climb his way up the lightweight ranks. Will Forte, who is 1-1 in the Octagon, be able to topple “The Bull” and gain his second UFC victory?

UFC 165 goes down on September 21st, 2013 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. The card is topped by a light heavyweight title tilt between the champion, Jon “Bones” Jones, and the first challenger of his generation, Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson.
