Andrews Nakahara meets Jung Hwan Cha at ROAD FC 013 in South Korea

Vitor Belfort protege, Andrews Nakahara (4-2-1), is set to make his second appearance under the ROAD FC banner in October.

The South Korea-based organization, on Monday, announced that Nakahara will meet Jung Hwan Cha (10-6-2) at ROAD FC 013 in a “Welterweight Super Fight”.

ROAD FC 013 takes place October 12th at the J.H Park Stadium in Gumi, South Korea. The event is set to be headlined by a ROAD FC Lightweight championship bout pitting Nam Yui-Chul against Kume Takasuke.

Nakahara, 30, is unbeaten in his last three outings. He made his ROAD FC debut at ROAD FC 012 against the highly-touted former Legend FC champ Bae Myung Ho, although that match-up was declared a draw after 15 minutes. Nakahara’s two defeats came against PRIDE veterans Kazushi Sakuraba, and Ryo Chonnan.

Like his opponent, “The Stonecutter”  Jung Hwan Cha is coming off a draw in his previous outing and is unbeaten in his last 3 bouts. He boasts quite an impressive resume in the Asian region, having fought the likes of George Sotiropoulos, Dong Hyun Kim, Igor Gracie and Luiz Ramos.

The latest line-up for ROAD FC 013 now includes:

  • Nam Yui-Chul vs. Kume Takasuke (For ROAD FC Lightweight strap)
  • Issei Tamura vs. Min Song Jong (Bantamweight Super fight)
  • Riki Fukuda vs. TBA
  • Bae Young Kwon vs. Umeda Kosuke (ROAD FC Featherweight Tournament semi-final bout)
  • Kil Young Bok vs. Choi Moo Gyum (ROAD FC Featherweight Tournament semi-final bout)
  • Andrews Nakahara vs. Jung Hwan Cha
  • Yun Jun Lee vs. Kamaya Makoto
