Riddle was expected to take on Luis Melo at next week’s Bellator 100 event, however a cracked rib forced him out of action and was the deciding factor in his decision.

Riddle (7-3 2NC) fought all twelve of his professional fights inside the UFC Octagon. He came in to the organization after a stint on season 7 of The Ultimate Fighter. “Deep Waters” won his last four fights with the organization, however two were overturned due to failed post-fight drug tests for marijuana metabolites.
