It looks like the controversy surrounding transgender fighter Fallon Fox can be put to bed, as Ashlee Evans-Smith survived a dicey 1st round and put the former Navy sailor into a state of unconsciousness for a TKO win in the 3rd round. With this dominant victory, the Californian won the Championship Fighting Alliance’s women’s featherweight tournament and a $20,000 bonus cheque.

Also on the card, CFA Flyweight Champion Joshua Sampo ground out a dominant decision victory over striker Sam Thao in the main event, and Efrain Escudero returned to the win column with a unanimous decision victory over Luis Palomino. New welterweight and lightweights champions were also crowned as Valdir Araujo choked out Romario Manoel da Silva and Yoisdenis Cedeno took a split decision over Torrance Tyler, respectively.  Full results for the card are below.
