Two Featherweight bouts are the latest additions to the BRACE 24 event which goes down later this month.

Two contests green lit for BRACE 24, including McPhail vs Van Aswegen

Peter Cross (1-3) returns to the BRACE banner to take on Sydney’s Darwin Sugarit, while unbeaten Australian prospects Jeshua McPhail (1-0) and Jan Johannes Van Aswegan (2-0) collide in an intriguing contest.

Officials confirmed the bouts via the promotion’sFacebook page.

Headlined by a 145-lbs title match-up between Luke Standing (4-0) and Martin Nguyen (2-0), BRACE 24 takes place November 29 at the AIS Stadium in Canberra, Australia. Fans can catch all the action LIVE on an online PPV for a price of AUD $14.99 at http://www.epicentre.tv.

Peter Cross has suffered three straight defeats following a victory in his pro MMA debut. The Canberra native looks to end the calendar year on a high note having slumped twice this year. He’ll be hoping to snap his losing skid when he takes on Sydney’s Darwin Sugarit.

Jan Johannes Van Aswegan, meanwhile, featured less than a fortnight ago at BRACE 23, securing a third frame Rear-Naked Choke victory that improved his record to 2-0. He’ll lock horns with Jeshua McPhail, a fellow Australian native who had a successful pro MMA debut back in September’s BRACE 22.

The latest BRACE 24 line-up now includes:

  • Luke Standing vs. Martin Nguyen (For BRACE Featherweight Championship title)
  • Peter Cross vs. Darwin Sugarit
  • Jan Johannes Van Aswegan vs. Jeshua McPhail
