I’m sure you’ll want to do some live betting on Super Bowl XLVIII in a couple weeks, but why not prepare by getting your picks in for UFC Fight Night 35 first.

Rockhold (10-2) made his UFC debut against Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 8 and even though he was coming in riding a nine-fight winning streak, “The Phenom” was able to land a well placed spinning back-kick that knocked out Rockhold. The last man to hold the Strikeforce middleweight title defeated Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza to win the belt and he defended it twice before coming over to the UFC.

Philippou (12-3 1NC) is also coming in to the bout on a one-fight losing skid. At UFC 165 Philippou lost a unanimous decision to Francis Carmont, but prior to that he was on a five-fight winning streak.

UFC Fight Night 35 goes down on January 15 from  The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia. For more on UFC Fight Night 35 click HERE.
