Flyweights Joseph Benavidez and Timothy Elliott will square off inside the Octagon at UFC 172 in Baltimore.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Monday.

Joseph Benavidez vs Timothy Elliott set for UFC 172

Benavidez (19-4) is coming off a first round knockout against UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson at UFC on FOX 9 in December of last year. Prior to that loss, the Team Alpha Male product was riding a three-fight winning streak, with his two most recent coming by TKO.

Elliott (10-4-1) is 2-2 inside the Octagon with his two victories coming against Jared Papazian and Louis Gaudinot. Most recently, Elliott is coming off a loss to Ali Bagautinov at UFC 167 in November 2013.

UFC 172 will go down on April 26 from Maryland’s Baltimore Arena. The main event is a light heavyweight championship bout between Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira.
