UFC Asia Managing Director Mark Fischer revealed that the American outfit plans to return to the Chinese region on August 23rd.

Fischer also announced that the UFC will return to Japan the following month when the organization holds a show at the Saitama Super Arena on September 20th.

To date, the UFC has made six trips to Japan, visiting Saitama, Tokyo, Chiba and Yokohama. It’s most recent show in Japan was UFC on FUEL TV 8 in March last year, which featured a riveting headliner between Wanderlei Silva and Brian Stann.

Two trips, meanwhile, have been made to Macau, China thus far. Last night’s TUF: China Finale event was the promotion’s second at the Cotai Arena, with its first being UFC on FUEL TV 6 in November nearly two years ago.

In January, the organization made its debut in Singapore and South East Asia. Although not official, the UFC has plans to break into the Philippines by year-end as well.
