Final line-up for PXC 43, Ale Cali vs. Ernesto Montilla serves as headliner

Ernesto Montilla (pictured) takes on Ale Cali in the main event of PXC 43.

PXC’s month end PXC 43 line-up is now set with nine bouts on the running order.

PXC 43 takes place March 29 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, Philippines. As with previous installments, the event will be streamed on LIVESTREAM.

Officials relayed the info on Facebook.

A Flyweight title bout featuring Rambaa Somdet and Roldan Sangcha’an was originally slated to headline the fight card, but with the former suffering a herniated disk in training, officials were forced to scrap the bout from the line-up altogether.

With that change, Ale Cali vs. Ernesto Montilla will now serve as the event’s new headliner.

Ale Cali is a former 125-lbs title holder in the promotion who succumbed his strap to current UFC fighter Louis Smolka in his last outing at PXC 41. That setback snapped a five-fight winning run which stretched to 2010.

Montilla, meanwhile, went 3-1 in 2013, picking up victories over Ruel Catalan, Jerome Wanawan and Jinel Lausa. With a win over Cali, the San Pedro, Laguna native could find himself in the contenders’ mix for a title shot.

A Women’s 115-lbs affair between Team Lakay’s Gina Iniong (2-1) and Japan’s Mei Yamaguchi (11-6-1) takes the spotlight in the night’s co-main event. Fresh off her PXC debut victory over Nathalie Heidel, Iniong looks to make it two wins on the trot come fight night, while Yamaguchi looks to get back on the win column following her promotional debut defeat at the hands of Bellator vet Patricia Vidonic at PXC 40.

The updated PXC 43 fight card now includes:

  • Ale Cali vs. Ernesto Montilla
  • Gina Iniong vs. Mei Yamaguchi
  • Rolando Dy vs. Han Bin Park
  • Glenn Ranillo vs. Reno Remegio
  • Jinel Lausa vs. Venson Delopere
  • Jerome Wanawan vs. Roy Doliguez
  • Kid Orais vs. Dean Bermudez
  • Joseph Mercado vs. Dominiel Eduave
  • Arex Montalban vs. Lorde Rey Yamit
