A middleweight showdown between Derek Brunson and Ed Herman is set to go down at UFC on FOX 13 in Phoenix.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Thursday morning.
Brunson (12-3) is 3-1 inside the Octagon and most recently took home a one-sided unanimous decision against Lorenz Larkin at UFC 177 in August. His UFC Fight Night 35 loss to Yoel Romero earned the Jackson’s MMA product $50,000 for ‘Fight of the Night’.
Herman (22-10, 1NC) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Rafael Natal in May. This bout will be the season 3 TUF competitor’s second of 2014.
No word as to where the Brunson vs. Herman bout will take place on the evening’s fight card.
UFC on FOX 13 goes down on December 13 from the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Other bouts announced are Stefan Struve vs. Alistair Overeem and Drew Dober vs. Jamie Varner.
