Carlos Condit vs Thiago Alves headlines UFC Fight Night 67

MMAJunkie.com’s Steven Marocco first reported the news and the UFC later confirmed it.

Condit (29-8) has been out of action since his UFC 171 loss to Tyron Woodley last March. A freak injury caused a stoppage to the fight and after a MRI it was determined that Condit had suffered a torn ACL and partially torn meniscus which required surgery. “The Natural Born Killer” is ranked number four on the UFC.com rankings.

Alves (21-9) has only fought three times in the last three years. Most recently “Pitbull” picked up a TKO victory over Jordan Mein at UFC 183 in January. Alves is 3-1 in his last four outings and has won “of the night” bonuses on two of those occasions.

UFC Fight Night 67 goes down on May 30 from a yet to be determined location.
