Metamoris 6 goes down on May 9, 2015 in Los Angeles, California and it has another marquee match-up added the lineup, as UFC veteran Joe Lauzon takes on Marcelo Garcia student Dillon Danis.

Lauzon announced the bout on his Twitter account, and assured fans that he was, “definitely not cut from the UFC.”
Lauzon is a BJJ brown belt and has some of the slickest jiu-jitsu in MMA. How that will convert to a grappling tournament like Metamoris, when it’s submission only, is yet to be seen. Of Lauzon’s 24 career victories, 17 of them have come by way of submission.
His opponent Danis is no slouch on the mat, he is an IBJJF Gi World Champion, No Gi Weight and Absolulte, World Pro Champion, Pan American Gi and No Gi Champion.
Along with Lauzon vs. Danis, Metamoris 6 also features a super-fight between Chael Sonnen and Renato “Babalu” Sobral.
