Artur Sowinski (18-9, 2NC) has been a staple of the KSW brand since making his debut at KSW 14 in 2010. In 2015 at KSW 33, Sowinski became the featherweight champion by defeating Kleber Koike Erbst via unanimous decision to earn the vacant strap.

Following one successful title defense, Sowinski lost the title via TKO to “The Polish Zombie” Marcin Wrzosek in December of 2016. Erbst later defeated Wrzosek for the belt and Sowinski earned another shot at Erbst and the featherweight gold after a quick submission win over Lukasz Chlewicki at KSW 38. Poland’s Sowinski was submitted by Erbst in December.

20-year-old French sensation Salahdine Parnasse (10-0-1) has done well for himself since making his professional debut in June of 2015. Having fought in China, France, and Belgium for the majority of his career, Parnasse signed with KSW late last year before making his Polish debut in December.

The Frenchman defeated striker Lukasz Rajewski in his debut at KSW 41 in what was an excellent showing for the young fighter. In regards to the one draw you may have noticed on his record, Parnasse fought LiGe Teng in China twice in 2016. After the first fight ended in a draw, Parnasse won their second meeting handily just five months later.

KSW 43 takes place at the beautiful Hala Stulecia in Wroclaw, Poland on April 14.

As previously announced, the main event will feature Wroclaw’s Olympic hero Damian Janikowski as he takes on Yannick Bahati. Also, featured on the card will be two title fights.

Michal Andryszak faces Phil De Fries for the vacant heavyweight title, while newly-crowned welterweight champion Roberto Soldic faces two-division EFC title-holder Dricus Du Plessis.
